Lisagrey

Mickael Wagner has made of a ring the whole lamp: a broad band of polished metal carries, as its setting, a medallion studded with translucent stones — squares of amber and coloured glass arranged in a chequer, lighting like gems. The form, oversized, plays on the shift of scale between jewel and luminaire. The mirror metal frames the luminous stones. Issued in eight examples, the piece is a jewel one sets on the table.
