Four columns and an entablature: nothing more is needed to summon the antique temple. Laurent Charles raised four brass shafts on a stepped base, capped with a metal plate that throws the light upward, like a portico pared down to its frame. The name, Archéo, speaks of this memory of ancient building. Polished brass runs the length of the four stems. The torchère lights the ceiling.
