Edfou

Edfou, the Nile town where the temple of Horus stands, one of the best preserved in Egypt. Philippe Parent draws from it a floor lamp, brother to Esna: a shaft of bronze and brass, slender, dark above, gilt and lustrous below, raised on a round base. The fabric shade caps the column.
