Bonsai Kossiflore

A trunk and branches in a dark patina, knotted and twisting, where hundreds of small gold leaves cling, while a bird has alighted in the foliage. Designed by Pierre Salagnac for Charles, this miniature bronze tree evokes both the precious trees of fairy tales and the art of bonsai. The whole, planted on a round gilt base, plays on contrasts: the dark roughness of the trunk, the tender gleam of the gilded leaves. Each leaf, chiseled and fixed by hand, sets the whole tree shimmering.
