Desert Rose

by La Maison Charles, 2000's   { The Charles }

The desert rose forms in the sands when gypsum crystallises into fine blades that open like petals of stone. Emmanuel Bossuet drew from it a pendant: brass discs overlap in a corolla around a luminous ring, like the blades of the mineral rose. The light wells from the heart of metal.
