Envol Mirror, 3 Leaves

Miroir Envol takes up the Art Deco gesture of the Coupe Envol. Chrystiane Charles has ringed a brass frame, beneath which opens, in a low crown, a bouquet of bronze leaves — three or five, raised, as though caught in a rising current. The reflection, ringed with brass, reaches into the space of the room, while the leaves climb at the foot of the glass.
