Phoebe, in Greek mythology, is the Titaness associated with the moon, ancestress of the goddess who lights the nights. The low table bears its lunar sign: a bronze base traces a long diagonal on the floor and closes into a ring, a circle suspended beneath the top like a star caught in its orbit. Félix Agostini keeps the metal its matte grain, its nervous casting. A broad oval glass top rests on this frame: transparent, it lets the drawing of the bronze be seen, and the circle that floats beneath.
