Orgues 12 Pipes

by Jacques Charles, 60's   { The Charles }

Organ pipes, grouped in a sheaf, descend here from the ceiling: the house recasts as a pendant the Orgues motif of Jacques Charles. The 4 Pipes version (ref. 6003) draws four tubes tight into a narrow lantern; the drum model (ref. 6003-bis) rings a dozen into a crown; the great 18 Pipes (ref. 6003-3) deploys a wide diadem. The polished metal returns one unbroken reflection, and the light wells from the hollow of the pipes.
