by Jean Charles, 60's { The Charles }
A réglette is a slim bar of light; the maison Charles dressed it for the mirror and the dressing table: a long vertical ribbon of opaline, framed by a beaded border and closed, top and bottom, by blocks of cut brass and a finial. The LED diffuses an even brightness behind the glass. The piece comes in silver or gold, and in a double version. In pairs, on either side of a glass, the réglettes frame the reflection in a soft light.
