Savane

The savannah is an ocean of tall grasses rippling under the wind. Chrystiane Charles drew from it a floor lamp where long, tapered leaves tier along the shaft, up to the fabric shade. The bronze, gilt or silvered, follows each vein. The stem, planted on a cubic base, seems to grow straight up. The light descends from the shade onto the tiered foliage.
