Shine Back Single

Raphaël Navot recasts as a sconce the principle of his Shine Back to Back table lamp: a bronze almond, ringed with a dark edge, whose hollow lined in gold leaf lights up with a band of LED. The light does not issue from the face but surfaces from the rim, golden and subdued. Set upright on the wall, the almond recalls a half-closed eye or a folded leaf. A Twin version joins two almonds back to back. The gold catches the brightness and gives it back, warm, onto the wall.
