Shine Back To Back

Raphaël Navot has set back to back two almond forms, driven into a block of dark bronze like two blades in their socket. They open onto a strip of LED that lights their interior with a golden glow. Depending on the angle, the piece closes or reveals itself. The matte bronze anchors the two soaring forms. The light comes out on one side only, in the manner of a half-open book. The name says the rest: what shines, back to back.
