by Jacques Charles, 60's { The Charles }
In the 1960s, Jacques Charles launched a great series of stainless-steel lighting, resolutely Seventies in spirit. The Trèfle belongs to it. Its drum of polished steel draws the four lobes of the plant nature so rarely produces, topped with a tray sculpted in the same metal. The light escapes through the hollows, between the lobes. Low and full, the form plays the geometry of the four-leaf clover, midway between good-luck charm and Gothic architectural motif.
