by Jean Boggio, 2006 { Collaborations }
The masquerade is the masked ball, the theatre and the harlequin: the whole world of Jean Boggio, who loves objects with a secret and a smile. His sconce raises a short brass shaft against the wall, capped beneath the shade with a sculpted harlequin. The arm fixes to the wall by a backplate. The light comes down from the shade onto the figure. Beneath a classical exterior, the piece keeps the mischievous spirit of a costume ball.
