by Thomas Bastide, 2009 { Collaborations }
Same pitcher, but the handle ends here in a claw: Thomas Bastide caps the top of the body with a chased metal talon that seems to seize the lamp to tip it. The gesture of pouring light takes a wilder, more animal turn. The polished metal keeps the gleam of silverwork; the claw, chased, breaks its purity. The light escapes through the tilted spout. A variant, Équilibre (ref. 7217), extends the family further.
