by Christian Duc, 1998 { Collaborations }
In the grass of summer nights, the glow-worm generates its own light. Christian Duc has drawn from it a long, sinuous form of polished metal, segment after segment, like a luminous larva balanced on two fine legs. The light runs along the articulated body. The silvered metal flows in a continuous undulation. Issued in eight examples, the piece also exists in a floor-lamp version.
