The zurna is a wind instrument of the festivals of Anatolia and the Balkans, a double-reed shawm whose bell flares to carry the sound far. Mickael Wagner keeps its silhouette: a tall, fine bronze stem, hammered with a grainy texture, that opens toward the floor into a flared foot like the corolla of an instrument. The bronze captures the light in its irregular grain. At the summit, the conical shade sets its clear note on the slender vertical. This floor lamp exists also in a table-lamp version.
