Cordage Classique

Same cordage, another dress: the Classic version keeps the metal spring coiled around the shaft, but a white fabric shade replaces the metal dome. Jacques Bobroff and Laurent Charles sign here a bedside or desk lamp whose sole ornament is that twist of cordage, set like a knot on the polished column. The round base anchors the vertical. The cylindrical shade diffuses an even light. The marine detail is enough to give character to a pared-down silhouette.
