Pyramide

The Egyptian obelisk rose in a single block toward the sky, its point raised to catch the first ray of the sun. The maison Charles takes up that impulse: a bronze column with a hammered surface, square in section, tapering as it rises from its slender base. The grainy material catches the light from bottom to top. The fabric shade, pyramidal in turn, extends the rising line.
