by Felix Agostini, 1958 { The Agostini Legacy }
Zozio says bird in familiar speech, and ducal gives it back its nobility. This bronze bird with a prominent beak and a hieratic face prepares to bow, as if for a curtsey. Félix Agostini casts the metal in tapered lines, keeping the grain of the hand beneath the patina. The triangular shade takes up the splay of its legs: the light passes behind the stretched screen, descends on the bronze body, and prolongs on the surface the curve of the bow begun.
